The Wynston - Located on the top floor of the El Cantil Condo-Hotel in town and beachside in Cozumel, an airy and beautiful air-conditioned space with a fantastic view of the sea. Perfect for sunset views, dinner service begins at 6:30 till closing. There is a Sunday Champagne Brunch from 11-3pm and you are invited to join them for Cocktails, the view, and Tapas Tuesday to Sunday from 12-5pm. The menu boasts Imported Veal, Lamb and Aged Black Angus Beef along with the largest wine cellar in the Yucatan. La Veranda - Walk through this colonial style setting and go directly to the garden! It is absolutely beautiful. There’s a fountain and a sweet little gazebo for a small group intimate setting. The food is great but if you don’t eat, at least enjoy a glass while relaxing in this gorgeous little piece of paradise. Located on 4th Street between 5th and 10th Avenue. Tel. 987-872-4132.
La Cocay - ( Cocay means firefly in Mayan), this Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant boasts a menu that changes monthly satisfying a wide range of tastes. You have the choice of dining inside a richly decorated mostly glassed in dining area or out on a lush garden patio, a popular spot for public or private functions. Jeanies Restaurant - (Formerly known as Jeanie´s Waffles) Although this well-known favorite is under new ownership, it still maintains its popular menu served by the same staff you´ve come to know and recognize over the years. Delicious waffles, grilled sandwiches, fresh fruit shakes and much much more along with a great beach view and a handy sea entrance for a refreshing dip make this one of the best in town locations to enjoy a rare public access to Cozumel´s sea-side. On Rafael E. Melgar and 11th Street beside the Baracuda Hotel, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday.
Guidos - Right on Cozumel´s waterfront, north of the plaza hubbub, this popular establishment proudly displays it´s passion for food and personal service in both a unique garden setting as well as open-air indoor dining. Home made Pastas, pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven, an assortment of international wines and Guido´s famous pitcher of Sangria, house made desserts, coffees and liqueurs all come together making this a memorable dining experience well known to locals and tourists. El Manati - A beautiful, well-maintained timber house with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and staff that right from the start invites you in and makes you feel like part of their family. Throughout the restaurants rooms are hidden 7 manatees in models or pictures, (the logos don't count!), find them all and receive a free margarita cocktail! A menu like no other in Cozumel offers choices that are full of flavor and a wine list that compliments it is a treasure. Located on the corner of 10th Avenue and 8th Street. Open from 12 Noon to 11pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 12 noon to 2am on Thursdays and Saturdays.
El Capi Navigante - “Captain Navigator”, this is a real fisherman’s delight and even for those of you that don’t fish but appreciate what the sea has on offer, you will enjoy this menu serving only the best in fresh seafood. You can trust in their great motto: “The fish we serve today, slept in the sea last night.” Acceptable prices and friendly service round out your evening. Open from 5:30pm to 10pm daily. Located on 10th Avenue between 3rd and 5th street.

Casa Denis - With the distinction of being the oldest restaurant in Cozumel, (90 years!), this family run eatery is at once welcoming and homey, (the family still lives on site). They offer traditional Yucatecan soups along with flavorful Mexican fare in a setting filled with the family's rich photographic history including famous folk who’ve eaten here in the past, Jackie Onassis and Placido Domingo), adorning the walls. You can find them in downtown Cozumel in the main plaza south of the clock tower beside the HSBC bank. Open throughout the week and well into the night.

La Perlita -This one is a bit of a trek but so well worth the journey! This family run Seafood Restaurant’s menu is packed with various fresh seafood dishes uniquely prepared and served in a homey atmosphere, portions are generous and prices are more than fair. Open 10am to 9pm daily. They have a fish shop on site open from 8am to 5pm.
La Lobsteria - This small but exquisite restaurant is set in a re-modeled typical Mayan home from 1899. It is perfect for couples or small groups and there are 3 different places to dine: In the garden, inside the restaurant under the palapa or out on the open terrace. You can choose from the many different lobster tails displayed on ice as you walk in the door, each have prices related to weight. The food is prepared and served simply but that is it’s elegance, the service itself is very relaxed so be prepared. La Choza - Boasting purely Mexican Design and Cuisine, this family run restaurant has a history of serving only traditional (slow cooked) home-style Mexican food from classic recipes gleaned from the owner’s mother. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, these palapa (thatched) roofed and warmly lit rooms provide a comfortable, cozy place to relax and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Located in town on the corner of Adolfo Rosado Salas Street and 10th Avenue.
Hard Rock Cafe Cozumel - Just across the street from the Main Ferry Pier, “The World´s Smallest Official Hard Rock Café” is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving up traditional American fare such as wings, tenders, skins and rings, great big burgers and much more. Moderately priced and accepting major credit cards, they also offer live music on the weekends and is very popular with the locals. Open Monday to Sunday 10am to 1pm.
French Quarter - The only authentic Cajun style restaurant in Cozumel, owner and operator Mike Slaughter is on site to offer you warm, gentlemanly hospitality. Upstairs, your dining experience is complimented by tropical greenery under a canopy covered outdoor terrace. The restaurant also boasts elegant, air conditioned rooms as well as the full bar and lounge area on the main floor. El Foco - Right in the heart of Cozumel town within 1 block south from the main plaza, this cozy little taco joint is overflowing with authentic local Mexican tacos, burritos, fajitas and of course ice-cold beers to wash it all down. Great for an early dinner or late night haunt, look for them on Avenue 5 between Calle Salas and Calle 3.
Casa Mission/La Mission - This is not just a place you go out for dinner, this is a dining experience. Located out of the main traffic, this historic hacienda estate is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and is truly a romantic setting. Rave reviews of the International menu and excellent service abound as well as many repeat visitors returning to Cozumel over the years sharing their enthusiasm for this magical place. Carlos n Charlie's - This family friendly atmosphere serves up fun with a vast, varied and tasty menu along with live entertainment from it´s personable and memorable staff, good times shared by all! Later when the mood strikes you, dance to popular music mixed by the dj on either the dance floor in the restaurant or head upstairs to Senior Frogs Disco. Conveniently located seafront in downtown Cozumel at the Punta Langosta Mall on Rafael E. Melgar across from the Punta Langosta cruise ship pier.

Coconuts - This incredibly fun bar and grill is located “top of the hill” on the east side of Cozumel island, a 40 min. drive from town going across Cozumel´s transversal highway. They have a great cliff view of the sea and beach along with peekaboo views of tables hidden among the palm trees. A delicious menu, easy going atmosphere and casual service make this a relaxed and well sought after destination, a must see and do for your vacation get away!
